They sent us back to the mail room because of our I-129F date. Idiots

I'm not letting my hopes go up for these next days. I've done enouth counting on USCIS not f*king up, They always do.

we're kind of in the same situation. Only my husband did not call RFE but customer service. Instead he made a congressional inquiry. The answer from USCIS was that they received our i130 on Oct. 1. So he made another one with proof (copy of NOA1) that they received August 24. We got a touch yesterday too. Hopefully we'll both have good news these days!!!

can you tell me please how you guys know that your cases were touched, i only check the website but it s has the same information that our case is recieved and pending, how can i know if they touch it or not? thanks

we consider it a touch when the "last updated" date changes

Hi Sama27!

You have to create your own account at USCIS website and then add your cases to the portfolio. There you can see a column called Last updated date for each case. When this date changes people here refer as a "touch".

Hello. I'm in same boat, last touchd 4/13 I130 and 129F both. I'm aug filer. Spoke to CIS today said they still doing back ground check. My two daughters are in school, wife at home how hard can that be ? I pray God will bless us all and aprove us soon, God knows the right time for us, all will be well soon.

coz they will say again when we call..

" YES, MAM YOU ARE STILL UNDER PROCESS & YOUR PETITION HAS NOT PASSED YET THE 30DAYS, SO STILL IT'S NOT BEYOND THE CURRENT PROCESSING TIME. WE CANNOT MAKE AN INQUIRY THE DETAIL OF YOUR CASE UNTIL IT PASSES THE 30DAYS TIME."

ALL THESE BLA BLA BLA... OF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS REALLY FRUSTRATING.

LAST MONTH THEY ARE ON THE SEPTEMBER 5 NOW WE GO BACK TO AUGUST 19, 2007.

LET'S JUST HOPE ITS A GOOD NEWS FOR US WHO ARE LEFT BEHIND WAY... WAY... BACK

Alright then! Is anyone prepared to have a guess at when they think we may receive NOA-2????????

It would be interesting to see what some of you think. The VJ website gives a much better idea as to what is really going on than those USCIS processing dates. So I would really appreciate your input.

From what I can see from other approvals on this site we should be hearing something anytime now. But I am trying not to get my hopes up. I am thinking they will both get approved together, both got touched on 9th April.

Maybe we should start a sweepstake on approvals, then other forms of gambling, then drinking, more drinking! Anything to numb the pain of this load of old bollocks we are all going through right now! Trying to stay positive but hard when nothing continues to happen. Oh well - soon hopefully. It is good to hear from others in the same situation so we can all help each other a little bit.
