I miss Makati so soooo much..I have worked and lived in this area for a bout 4 years and I miss the traffic, the food, the crowd.

I so so miss walking in the busy streets of Makati.

Anyone here feels the same?

Wow Shape what a good timing. I made a blog that features things that can only be found in the Philippines. In fact, I entitled it "Onli in da Pilipins." I just started it actually. Lately, I realized that the days left for me to stay here is thinning everyday. So, I thought of paying tribute to my home country by making a blog na related lahat sa Pilipinas. I am quite glad Ryan gave me a digital camera as his birthday gift, that way I can take pictures that will catch my interest and write a few details about it. This is a great thread! You can visit the blog that I just made too or I'll just post a few pictures here. :)

Not amazing to Indians -- this is India's "national vehicle", known as autorickshaw; also common in Indonesia where it actually is named "Bajaj", after the world's top manufacturer (an Indian company) of such.

A vehicle doesn't count as overcrowded unless it is so full that people are either riding on top or (like the KTM 'Micro') people are actually standing in the open doorway while the vehicle is moving, holding on for dear life - I actually ended up doing this once(yes I am crazy, but I imagine this definitely makes me an honorary Nepali.... )

Is the "micro" a train (LRT) or bus system?

(edit: these are actually the RULE in Indian bus systems EXCEPT for BEST in Mumbai--the only one in the country known to enforce the "standees" limit; no such enforcement on Mumbai's Suburban Rail System however)
