......So my fiance just got his visa, he'll be here on june 10th, and we're doing the legal wedding within his first week of getting here. I'm a K-1 veteran but an AOS rookie. I've looked at posts and the guides and I have an idea of what do to, but I also see that a lot of these posts are from last year. Anyone from the K-1 July filers here? I know it will be a while before we file for AOS, but I'm the type of person who likes to learn things the sooner the better LoL. Any input will be greatly appreciated, Thanks everyone!!

We filed for AOS soon after we got married and had the green card in a little over 3 months. The guides on VJ are easy to follow. I did the paperwork myself. I had a few questions and people on this site helped me. If you start preparing the paperwork now it would be less stressful. Good luck.

I'm a K1 July filer - hi there!! :D

I mailed my AOS package off on April 1st and I'm still waiting for my NOAs. My check was cashed 2 days ago so hopefully it won't be long.

If you want to know anything specific ask away.

Good luck on your journey. And, nice seeing an International School person as well. I went to the one in Manila, Philippines.

The guides really do help.

Also, the instructions on the forms are pretty simple to follow for AOS. I mostly used those instructions on ours.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
