I think I'm in trouble. I think I am still in love with my ex-husband :(:crying: I left him because I met Osiris online. But my husband is here, and Osiris is there and so completely untouchable. I don't know what to do. Christopher is married now to another woman, maybe I've lost him too. I was his high school sweetheart, and we were married for a long time...and my feelings for him are still there. Osiris was new, exciting, exotic and romantic, and I think maybe that's what I fell for. Osiris seems a little too exotic for me right now. What I need is comfort and familiarity. The visa process is too grueling, I don't think I can do the expense or the emotional turmoil of the process. I may need to get away for awhile. And to think I started my Myspace page to feel closer to him...and he can't even get online to add me as a friend :(:help:

The process is long and hard and makes you second guess yourself all the time. You ex-husband is really not all that accessible as he is married to someone else. Maybe he just reminds you of simplier times.

Talk to your fiance about this. Hang in there. The process does eventually end and you can then move on with your life.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

jeanie,

I wish you the best in this...the immigration process is one that tests your strenght for sure..I think I have lost at least a few brain cells over the process!! haha...Tarek might say more..haha...I would suggest taking a step back from everything and finding out what you really want and what is best for you. Process the feelings for the ex...are they real, or are they a result of your man being so very far away?

I wish you the best with it all!!!! I know the connections are terrible and that adds its whole set of issues.....take care of yourself!!!! Hugs, Melinda :)

Are you sure this is the place you want to come for advice? I see a huge explosion coming, be prepared.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

The grass is always greener on the other side.

You've already moved on from your ex-Husband. Sometimes it's nice to reminisce but MENA men don't like to hear about past men in your life so I wouldn't advise sharing it with him. If you're not to sure about your new man well that is one thing but if it's just the trials of the visa process that have got you then hell we all go through that.
