Just feeling desperate, going downhill. So unfair... no news, nothing. 140 days without anything but silence.

-N

I can tell you from experience....251 days for a Noa 2 and 311 for an interview that is April 1 that you will survive this.....I depended so much on the people in the VSC waiting thread....It kept my head above the water many many nights.......This is such an unfair, dysfunctional system that to try and apply common sense and compassion to it will never get you anywhere......Just remember....things worth anything are worth waiting for....chin up...it will come.....Lora

This could possibly be one of the hardest processes you will ever have to undergo in this lifetime. Feel good about yourself and look at the fact you are truly climbing a big mountain and slowly making your way up to the top.

It is discouraging when there are no responses as the days go by. Best thing to do is keep yourself busy and try to get it off your mind by filling your days with lots to do.

Mine took just over 150 days so don't panic - CSC is notoriously slow and while it sucks we just can't do anything about it :) Try and keep your chin up :) Your time *will* come :)

Igor's list is wonderful - really gives you a sense of progress and lets you easily look at when the latest approvals applied and get a real idea of what is being currently processed (which you certainly don't get from the USCIS website). Obviously it's only a small proportion of the overall workload at CSC and VSC but it is a definite boost to morale seeing movement.

I check Igor's list every day just as I check VJ every day and also the USCIS site to see if we have been touched. If nothing else it gives me something constructive to do - and even Mark is cheered up when he sees we're getting closer to being in the top 100 on the list!

It's not easy waiting without a definite time-frame, but when there's no choice you make the best of it.

Good luck and I hope that everyone waiting has good news soon (me included!).
