I received an unexpected surprise today! An e-mail from CRIS, we got approved!!!

Apparently, we got approved last night. The e-mail came in around 9 pm (PST) but didn't notice it until today. I hope this is a good sign for all those other March filers (mostly the early ones left) that approvals are coming your way! Don't lose hope!

Our I130 has been approved! We got the NOA2 in the mail yesterday, although the USCIS website still lists our case as pending. I called NVC and they have issued a case number. On step closer! Good luck to everyone else.

Here the last update of the March -2008 filers spreadsheet. I should say i am losing any hope... i am tired... :crying:

Thank you USCIS.......

:crying: Wow, that's really depressing when you click on the VSC tab and then the CSC tab on that spreadsheet. :crying:

If I didn't have bad luck, I would have no luck at all!

My husband has informed me that he called today and was more or less told that our background check hasn't come back yet. I have no idea how much processing is involved after the check is complete, but I'm guessing I'm not getting an approval anytime soon. :(

Most likely just the opposite. According to the General Adjudication Procedures from the USCIS website, they run security clearance again right before the adjudication, in addition to the one they run when they receive the file.

So it might actually signal the final steps of the process.

Let's hope for the best, at least someone out there is actually working.
