Greetings:

I mailed our I-130 petition to the Chicago lock box on March 5, 2008 (overnight) and it was received on the 6th by Bustamante.

I have been told everything from two weeks to 90 days for the NOA-1 so I would like to keep track and see where it actually hits.

Check was cashed yesterday, March 12th. Moving pretty swiftly! Hopefully now they're working through the kinks...

If you filed in March 2008 or thereabouts, please post so that we can track it.

Thanks and Regards...

My I-130 was received by V. Bustamante on March 13. From looking at your timeline I guess I can expect to receive my NOA1 in about a week. Thanks for starting this thread and good luck!

:innocent::whistle::dance: Thanks for adding me. From the list the longest wait time for the NOA1 is 12 days. That is pretty amazing given the fact that it says it can take upto 90 days. I am praying for mine coming by the end of this week or mid next week.:innocent: . Good luck to all of us :star:

Think it is more interesting and important to see when one of us gets a NOA2!

NOA1 is just a notification of RECEIPT, I think that if the form does not go missing, you get a receipt within a couple of weeks...

At this stage, the petition is already transcribed into a computer? So if we go to a POE they know already ?

In the next few months, what do they do exactly? Is it all automatized or a person will manually have to run the security checks?

The spreadsheet has been updated and published.

We can all view it here.

Good luck and have patience!!
