    • I am registered for an account, but I can't remember my username, password, or email address, all of which I wrote down on a piece of paper that I hid in the shed out back below my copy of the 1984 Vanessa Williams Penthouse, but my neighbor's kid broke in and stole it, so no, I have never checked.

I'm still waiting for a trackable number so I can check on line. I suspect I will be checking daily.

you can activate notifications over the email. then, if your case is approved the system will notify you automatically. this way you can just have it forwarded to your cell phone and always know if you were approved or not. also, i think there is no sense checking between friday night and monday morning. they are closed then and nothing happens, right?

You don't get email when you are simply "touched" -- only for major updates (approved, RFE, or transferred, etc.)

Meh

Heh, until they transferred us to VSC, my last updated date had been the touch after the biometrics and stayed the same for eight months.

Ok that makes sense, thanks. the date I see when I log on to my case is 3/9/07, a few days after my biometrics - so that's probably when they received and added that to my case? And nothing since.

Sounds kindof perverted that we're all sat around in front of our computers hoping to be 'touched' by the USCIS lol

We really have to come up with some better terminology here lol

When I was waiting for I-130 approval, I checked daily.

For the I-751, I have it set up to email me when approval happens, not that I trust them to send the email when it does, but I'd say in the past over eleven months of waiting, I've checked 3 times in total. I don't look for "touches".

I use to have the LIN number memorized when it was the I-130, but not now. I don't know if I can properly answer your poll but I'm closest to the last answer, without the Penthouse, etc...lol
