We also just got another touch today! I'm a little more excited (yet cautiously so) about this one. I was attributing yesterday's touch to my phone call yesterday, but for two touches on two consecutive days......I'm hoping and keeping my fingers crossed that my file is finally out of the box.......

I really don't understand how all this processe works. My fiance called yesterday the USCIS and we've got touched next day, just like Don. I don't know what to think, but it's very very weird. Now I'm wondering: Is there anyone who called and talked to someone (live) at the Customer Service and didn't get touched next day? Maybe this will help to understand if there is any connection between the call and the "touches".

hi, my fiance called them up several times already but our case did not get any "touches" so I don't think there's a connection between the two.

Hey everyone. Be sure to check your mailbox. My status on the USCIS website says my case is still pending even though I received my NOA2 hardcopy in the mail. Touches are definitely a good sign. I'm a late January filer that got a couple touches in June that lead to a NOA2 approval.

Good luck to all and keep your heads-up! I'm still patiently waiting for CSC to send off my approved petition to the NVC.

I am sure that they USCIS e-mail updates are not working. Look at Igor's list, there has NEVER been a week without approvals. I'm sure they are going to start popping up in mailboxes soon. I just hope my touches were an approval and not an RFE.

I called after 4 months of waiting, talked to a very nice lady at USCIS, and did not get touched at all. That was on 6-24. Didn't get touched until 7-8. Thats 2 weeks between calling and getting touched.

A nice little envelope from the Gub'ment!! The NOA2 was dated July 19th, so the touch I had on the 20th was it. So much for signing up for e-mail alerts and the USCIS website. your better off just waiting.
