HI you guys,

I'm still here. Although I don't have anything exciting to report, I'm very happy to say that I just found out today that NVC processed our case and sent it out to Bangkok on 18 July, only 4 days after our NOA2!!! So that was kind of exciting for us! I have our BNK number and everything. So now I can start bugging Bkk about if they've received our case yet. As soon as they tell me they have I can mail in P3 and get an interview date scheduled!!!! :) I leave Thailand for good in less than 10 days now. :o I'm just hoping Lute can join me by September or October at the latest.

Hi Good news about NVC getting their act together for you, how did you find out? We got our NOA2 on the 15th and I have been ringing the helpline at NVC twice daily since but when I enter the EAC number the automated system says they have no record of the case!! However we received a letter yesterday from NVC saying that they had received our petition were forwarding it to the London embassy 'within a week' so not quite sure what is going on there?

Anyway good luck to you and all other filers

The receipt number from NOA2 will not work with their automated system. You need to talk to an operator and give them that number. They'll ask for both your names and birthdays to verify your identity. Then they will give you the case number they assign at NVC and answer any other questions you have.

K-1 visas are not fully processed into their system so you have to choose the option to speak to a person to get your information. They can tell you when the case was received from USCIS and when it was sent out to the Embassy, as well as what your new case number is.

Hi everybody. I'm busy trying to get things ready to leave for 2 weeks. I go tomorrow night.

Jessica, you can track your package from NVC to Bangkok. I just posted that in the April 08 Vermont thread earlier today so look for it there. Also posted all that NVC calling stuff recently in the March CSC thread. Man, I haven't even been taking care of my own people. Sorry John. Also see in the March CSC thread I posted about calling the Dept of State, which would be good info for you to print or save. It should be near the last pages of the thread. Probably easier to find by clicking the dropdown by my name in this post and choosing "find recent posts". I don't have time to repost anything or I won't be packed. Just taking a little lunch break.

(L) Cheers! Mommy Nic

Hello my dear friends!

This is my first post from the US!!!!

Oh what a lovely Sunday morning!

Just woke up and my baby is cooking breakfast! Steak and eggs! Ah....the good life...:D

My trip was very eventful unfortunataly... Flight form JFK to Baltimore got cancelled due to weather conditions...and i was rebooked for another later flight...which was 7 hours delayed...and after boarding and sitting on the runway for 3 hours they decided crue already worked extra hours and it is unsafe to take off... so we went back to the gate and spent the night at the airport... Needless to say i left home Wed at 2 am and was finally in my baby's arms Thu at 11 am... but that is all behind how...except the fact that i still don't have any luggage...lol

Just wanted to let you guys know that everything is ok ...and i am finally here with him!

Big night...meeting parents!!!!

catch you later!

love Alina

Saffyre--- I see you're moving Tuesday. So exciting. Are you ready? Tuesday is an exciting day for us too because it's The Big I Day (as in interview). I hope everything goes perfectly for you. Can you believe Bex is in America before us...after all that whining she did when we had NOA2s first. (Well I've always been in America, but I mean my other half.)

Alina----
