NOA 2 In a month?¿?¿?¿?

Hi everyone.

We got the NOA1 at the end of january and yesterday, Feb 25 we got an email that says that the I-129f petition have been approve. Does that mean that we have the NOA 2 ALREADY?¿?¿?!! Just in a month? this is the copy of the email. thank for your help

Plus,for the rest of us waiting: there was an approval in 7 days in january and another one here in a month.

I know there are still august filers without any approval. I wonder how many of those simply didn't update their timelines

Alex & Barbara is a couple where the beneficiary is from Cuba, those are approved super fast...I'm not sure what the explanation is, but I think the latter process is lenthier because if I understand it correctly there is no specific us consular section in Cuba, so their post petition approval process is a bit different. I would not count Cuba as an indicator of things "speeding up".

When I told my husband how quick they approve cases if the beneficiary is from Cuba, he said it is probably because Cuba doesn't really need to get a visa since they are always welcome to come in the US. I think it has something to do with US and Cuban governments...

I think Asia or any other far distance countries will take longer. I mean look at my timeline and sig. Although i have been touched Feb. 17, 2008. I'm still waiting as of now. I hope to get my NOA2 early March .

I really do think it's just luck of the draw and that the country you're from doesn't have anything to do with it, I certainly hope so anyway. This came up when I first joined VJ a month or so ago though, seemed like most people did think it was an equal system...

I think I've seen four couples get an uber-fast approval in the past week or so (probably more?) - I think two of us were UK, one was Spain, and one Moldova...and no offense but I have no idea where Moldova is at all So yeh I wouldn't worry about extra hurdles or red flags or anything because of your country.
