Say I took the lump sum -- $164 million? Here's how it would go down in my house:

$20 million for tithe

divide the remainder into thirds

One-third would be our personal play money

One-third would be set aside to help others out as we saw fit (family, friends, strangers)

One-third would be set aside in a foundation to support community work.

And I would set up a scholarship at a university to honour my best friend's stepfather, who was a cool guy.

I tried to win that jackpot! :( Glad it went to seeminly nice people though..

If I won the lotto I would pay off all my debts and my families debts. Donate a huge chunk of it to various charities, invest a lot of it, buy a house for me and anyone I'm very close with, and travel, travel, travelllllllllllllllllllllllllllll forever!

That was funny! They seemed very strange! I can totally see them on some E! True Hollywood Story about people who won the lottery and spent it all in crazy ways :P

I seen it, my daughter was cracking up laughing and said they won? I said yes, she said well to win that much money they do not seem too excited about it. I agreed because they looked as if they just woke up and could almost care less. I would be like a crazy person if I were in their shoes so excited and thankful!
