I pray that our visas are granted, that our loved ones can join us and I believe our relationships will be most meaningful as we know how to be patient and keep our love constant and strong through these times of great distances across the oceans.

So your saying that ppl going thru AP have a more meaningful relationship than ppl who didnt have to go thru AP?

Your saying that bc ppl who didnt have to go thru AP are less strong and love any less?

wow what a misconception.

I think it's just rationalizing to make the wait seem like it has a purpose or benefit. I've heard people say similar things here about LDR's/internet relationships in general - they're stronger because you have to communicate without the physical aspect. I don't really agree, but again, I think it helps people with the wait.

I'm thinking the OP's intentions weren't to say that people suffering through the wait of AP have more meaningful relationships than anyone else, just that their own relationship becomes more meaningful to themselves. I think it was just worded in an awkward way.

I wouldn't pick on someone going through this. It's extremely painful waiting longer than everyone else and the uncertainty of the outcome has got to be nervewracking.

Well, I don't quite agree with that statement either.......Must be worded wrong again. Everyone going through this process sees their own relationships as very meaningful.

That being said, I feel for everyone who has any kind of issues in this process. I wish it could be a simple smooth process for everyone involved.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
