Well, our Realtor just called. Our offer of $115K was countered with an offer of $123K. I told them to make an offer of $120K and he said it was accepted! The paperwork is now being drawn up and sent to the bank! Now comes the inspections (VA home inspection, radon inspection, termite inspection ect...) and we need to go sign papers at the bank and get that all squared away. We are shooting for a closing on Feb 29 so I don't have another rent payment. Looks like we will have a house!!

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Yay!

Hope the inspection goes well!

I remember when we had ours we got lucky because the homeowner happened to be doing her laundry. As a result, we saw the slight sewer overflow in the front yard. If she had not been doing the laundry we would not have seen that off the bat and it would have been a nasty surprise down the road. Of course there's the homeowner's insurance to take care of such surprises but I was glad that was dealt with (satisfactorily) even before we finally closed on the house.

You would like this place. It has a 8' fence going all the way around the back yard. It looks brand new!
