All's I got is a rock.

I got a reciept, but no NOA1 5 months and 2 weeks later.

I can't really be supportive of anyone moving along who filed way after I did. Sorry kids.

It seems to me that it's only VSC who is approving some September filers.

CSC is still back in July. Haven't seen any approvals out of them this week (posted on VJ forums at least).

I am a September 2007 filer. My NOA1 receipt was September 26 and i received email notification of approval on February 4. I even had to request for the waiver for the 2nd K1 in the two year time frame. I received no RFE! My application is at the California service center. I am still waiting for the NOA2 in the mail.

My first K1 visa arrived last year with her mother. They decided it was my responsibility to fly the mother-in-law back and forth from Kiev to California for 3 month stays. I said no and sent her back to Kiev. They forgot to mention this little expectation before arrival. I decided to avoid the Ukraine and went to Brazil instead for the second K1.

Congratulations on your approvals, but you guys are K1's so your timelines aren't comparable to K3s and IR-1/CR-1.

I would be very happy if there were any September approvals for IR-1/CR-1/K3, but it would also make me very confused, irritated and upset. Sorry, I've just been waiting for so long to be reunited with my husband and we keep encountring obstacles. And I know my case isn't as complicated as many folks here on VJ. There are folks from May still waiting! #######!!??? I would really need an explanation because I wouldn't understand.

I truely am happy for all the VSC folks, it seems this service center is working faster than CSC, I wonder if they are recieving less applications, or are just more efficient?

Just curious to know, when you call USCIS do they help you in any way or give you an answer as to when your I-130 will be approved? I called Friday and they said my case hasn't even been sent to an adjuticator. I get so frustrated when I see people who filed after me get an approval.

Timeline

I've come to believe it really isn't much help. Everytime my husband called they said it wasn't assigned to an ajucator yet. Last time he called they were RUDE to him and said it has been assigned, but no approval or RFE since then and it's been a week. I don't know how long it's suppose to take once it's in the hands of an adjucating officer.

I am very skeptical to what they say on the RFE lines...just take VJer Mateo as an example. He called and was told that he wasn't even asigned an adjuactor yet; and then that evening he was approved! I think they have no idea what they are talking about most of the time.

They also always say things like 'call in 2 weeks', 'don't call for another month', 'your case should be approved soon', 'be patient' (that one pisses me off the most), blah, blah, blah.

Sorry, just so tired of all of this. Stupid K3 cancellation really screwed us over...If we'd only gone for I130 we probably would have been approved by now.

To satisfy that curiousty I truly believe that NO they have no idea - you can read other threads on people being told blah blah blah wait another two years and then call back and then they go get their mail and wham bam thank you by by USCIS onto VSC.

When people get approved before you, it is a common emotion to feel frustration, but in reality it is showing some type of movement from the "snail club" - thats how I have to look at this whole situation for someone to get approved in our timeframe either it be CSC or VSC - it shows that someone showed up for work and actually took out that rubber stamp that day and stamped "APPROVED" -

Hang on please, once you get that NOA2 these feelings will pass and then you can start to sort out NVC issues which hopefully be less painful. Notice the word LESS - but again as far as USCIS giving someone an honest or even better to have answers given that are not an oxymoron in nature - omg thats beyond my imagination.

Cheers and god speed to you
