I've always heard that the only reason guys take dance lessons is to meet women haha. Although you must have some natural talent and ambition to teach!

I live in Ontario, Canada, and my boyfriend is in Michigan. We are both involved in a pistol shooting sport. He came up to Ontario for a major match, and thats where we met (although we never really did get introduced!).

I went down to Michigan a couple months later, for a match there, and saw him again. After that match, we started talking, and here we are now.

I'm absolutley loving it.

Debs and I met in a "20 somethings" Yahoo chat room in 2001. It was totally random, infact she had just left the room when I joined. 5 seconds later and we might never have met. Her username (luv2teach77) was the only reason I messaged her (I was born in 1977 too). We hit it off straight away and the rest, as they say, is history. We will celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary on April 29th and couldn't be happier with the hand that fate dealt us !!

His choir was touring the East Coast and I read about the concert online ... I was more or less unemployed at the time and was going to anything that would get me out of the house, and the concert was only like 15 minutes from my house. Then it turned out all the physical publicity materials for that concert had gotten lost in the mail, so there were only like 6 people there. They (the choir) invited my friend and me to go out to dinner with them afterwards. He spent the meal hitting on my friend and his flatmate spent it hitting on me.

He'd already started considering looking into a temp work visa (J-1) for the US because he wasn't getting anywhere in his field (music administration) in Britain--one of those things where you need experience to get a job, but you can't get experience because no one will hire you. And again coincidentally, the company that ended up hiring him for the J-1 internship was really near my house also (out of like 6 cities he'd looked in).

We ended up getting married rather unexpectedly while he was here on the J1.

We met in a chatroom.

I was going through a really messy divorce from a violent/abusive marriage and went in the chatroom out of curiosity in Nov 2005. I wasn't looking for a relationship. Randy had just lost his job and went in the chatroom out of curiosity. I nearly never went back, some of the men in there really scared me. Randy was different, something really attracted me to him. We swapped email and MSN addressess after chatting in the room a few times, the rest is history. I move to the USA March 13th and our wedding is booked for April 22nd.

We met in the Yahoo chatroom for "30's Romance". It was his first time he tried the chat rooms and went into an American one because he finds Americans very friendly. I would go into chat rooms when I was bored... but it was usually Florida based chat rooms. I was bored with them and just went into the general nationwide 30's romance chatroom.

He IMed me after he found out that I lived in Florida (and he had worked on a cruise ship that used a few Florida ports in the past). We started chatting and just clicked. We have pretty much been in touch everyday since that first meeting.
