We also had a great turnaround.

I filed to remove conditions on 1/2/2008, and received our NOA 1 on 2/10/2008. The biometrics appt. for 2/20/2008 in Charlotte has also come.

We filed at the Texas service center. I haven't checked to see if the card is ready to be mailed but we'll be going for the biometrics as scheduled. Yay!

Hi

-Payable to U.S Department of Homland Security.(don't use the intials USDHS)

I advise you use money order b/c for the uscis it is easy to draw out the money from the bank.

-to attach your documents use ACCO fasteners.

In preparing your packet, please take note of the following:

* Do not use binders or folders that cannot be easily disassembled.

* Use ACCO fasteners to hold together thick or bulky applications or petitions. Two-hole punching the top of the material for easy placement in the file is appreciated.

* The use of tabs assist in locating items listed as attachments. The tabs should be placed on the bottom and not the side for ease in filing.

* Avoid using heavy-duty staples; instead use ACCO fasteners or heavy clips.

* Avoid submitting originals unless specifically required. Avoid submitting oversized documentation when possible.

I wish you Good luck.

Uh, I don't want to burst your bubble or anything, but you are a looooong way off from your card being ready to be mailed if you have an NOA1 dated Feb. 1, 2008. The NOA1 is just a receipt for your application, not a notice of approval. Plus you will see it came not from TSC, but from VSC, where all new TSC petitions are being transferred. You might not see approval until November, and certainly not before August.

Meh
