HOWEVER, we were suppose to find out another Oceanic 6 survivor in that episode and Aaron is the only survivor mentioned....so the show promotion lied then. Another theory is that it's not Claire's Aaron, but that Kate IS pregnant. hmmmm

I thought about that but it seems strange for her to name her son Aaron....unless she got really attached to Claire's Aaron at some point in time which we haven't seen yet and he dies and she did it in remembrance of him? I'm totally grasping straws here. I thought the whole thing with her not wanting to hold Aaron when Claire asked her to was a bit strange.

It would make sense if she was pregnant though - I'm sure she would be really afraid to tell Sawyer and perhaps not even want him involved if she really was pregnant with his child. Sawyer already has a child he never sees (although, does Kate know about that?)

This is getting totally weird! :P At least we know now that their story to the world is that 8 survived the crash and 2 died afterwards. thus leaving 6 to be rescued.

I think Jack got Kate pregnant.

Yeah but why doesn't he want to see the baby? I can completely understand if he wouldn't want to see a baby that came from Kate and Sawyer (which is why I thought it must be Sawyers - darn Lost and their trickery!) but it seems like he would want to see his own child.

Oh, and if it is Sawyer's child and he isn't one of the Oceanic 6, wouldn't people wonder how Kate got pregnant and who the father is? Even if it is Jack's child they would have surely mentioned the fact that they had a baby together while he was on the stand.

when she mentioned him nmot wanting to see the child, first thing that came to mind was that it was his son, why else would she be so concerned about him not seeing the child if the child is not his, it doesnt really matter.

i was thinking that Kate was pregnant with Sawyer's baby... and she just wanted to see what his reaction would be...

but if that is Claire's Aaron, then I don't know

well, if it is Claire's baby it would be his nephew.... and probably at some point he found that out and has issues with it....

Yeah, maybe. I can see there is a huge gap in information between what happened when Kate didn't want to hold Aaron and her obviously close relationship with him now. But, if she did "adopt" him from Claire why is she speaking at him like he is her son? I mean, obviously if she adopted him she is his mother now but something still seemed closer in their relationship than an adoptive one.

Although, her lawyer kept bringing her "son" up as an attestation to her good character - so if she did adopt Aaron from a "dying" Claire, that would make her look like a good person, right?

I believe that Aaron is Claire's son.

I think that Kate can not have children because of the reaction she had with Sawyer saying jow there was no way she could be pregnant. After the time they spend on the island I doubt any of them has birth control pill left, so that's the only way I would understand it.

The way she reacted at not wanting to carry Aaron on the island too. I think it would be hard on anyone who can not have children to take care of someone else.

I also think it's Claire's son for the simple reason that Kate doesn't want her mom to see him. I think it's not just that she can't forgive her mom, I think it's because she is afraid her mom would see something in Aaron that lets her know he is not Kate's.

His age makes me question things. How old is Kate's Aaron, and how long have the survivors been back, that would tell us for sure.

So either she took him, which could explain why Jack refuses to go see him, and why he says that he lied at the trial and that none of it was true. Or else Claire gave him to her, if so why?

Aaron #5 of the official survivors. Yes, it's possible, although with my husband we also questioned the fact that he wasn't born when the plane crashed.

I am pretty sure that most of the survivors are still on the Island because a lot of them choose to. Because they could get things there that they would not find in the normal world, and because of something that Jack said at the end of the last season.
