CONGRATULATIONS !

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Congratulations thats great news, and I dont mean to rain on your parade but be sure to prepare well for the interview because the consulate interview is where the age difference will come into play. It would be very very unusual for you to have had any problems at the service center with your 129f regarding the age thing. So spend the coming weeks and months while you wait for the interview preparing and making sure you have all the answers to the questions and concerns you will face...

Good Luck!

Congratulations are in order. Listen well to this advise. Our was approved very quickly, something like 3 weeks (those days are over). Anyway it is the consulate that caused us the grief. We were denied on Aug of 2005 and he didn't get the visa until Dec of 2006.

I guess at the end the big factor for us (age difference marriages) will come down to how much evidence we present at the interview.so let's prepare,be confidant and remenber we don't need to prove our love at the CO we just need to prove of our bonafide marriage here and so far all our stories are genuine and real so there's nothing to worry about.. Good luck to all of you and GOD BLESS

It's not necessarily a problem. Many couples with a significant age difference are approved.

Morocco *IS* known to scrutinize petitions very rigorously as a matter of course, as it is considered a high fraud consulate. There are a number "red flags" they look for -- for instance a large age difference seems to be one, or becoming engaged very soon after meeting, or marrying just days after first meeting, or soon after a divorce, or money changing hands, etc. The consulates are looking for a pattern indicating fraud, apparently based on factors they've identified as common in fraudulent cases.

So a large age difference will probably draw extra attention from this consulate. But it is not the only thing they consider. It is one piece of the overall puzzle.

Wishing you the best of luck in your visa journey !

Congratulations on your approval!

Unofortunately your visa is not approved yet. As Sara said the age difference isn't an issue at USCIS and the hardest part is still ahead at the Consulate. Good luck!
