The NVC always schedules interviews the second week of every month for the following month (in most cases). So they should be done with scheduling February interviews by the 11th or 14th of this month.

Just hang in there for little longer, you are almost at the finish line. Keep calling NVC every day, I don't think you will get the same operator all the time.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

They played the same game with me last month. On the 13th and 14th of December both operators told me that my interview was not yet scheduled. I called because the automated system said on December 12th that my case was sent to the consulate on December 10th. I received the interview letter on December 17 . It was dated December 7. So even a week after it was actually scheduled they kept saying it was not.

Do you know if your case has actually been forwarded yet? We learned that they forward the case electronically, and then physically send the hard copy later (in our case 10 days after the date they stated in the letter, which I guess was the date of the electronic transaction). I used the tracking method for DHL and it works!! They also seem to send the documents in big clumps all over the world within a few days.

I do know how you feel. No matter how much people tell you a watched pot never boils, one's instinct is to check at least once a day for progress.

Don't worry. They will send letters to both your American and Ukrainian addresses with the exact same letter that you will need to bring to the interview. The letter will have the date and time of the interview on it. It will also have a list of the documents that are needed (if any) for you to bring to the interview. Ours showed a long list of documents but also showed that they had all of them. Either case, I am making sure we bring everything with us. Our case was completed on November 20th and we got out letter in the US in late December and in the Ukraine about a week later.
