My husband and I met online on January 14, 2007......I had just been recently divorced and was just sitting at home lonely and had not been online in months.....He was working in Cuba and was online browsing as well......It just so happened to be that we both were in the same chat room in Yahoo.....I was timid to start chatting and exited the room within a few minutes......Then I got an instant message asking me if I would like to chat.....I was very surprised to find out that this wonderful gentleman would be from Jamaica......I had been to Jamaica to visit twice before and I loved the country.....I loved the people and the little I got to experience of the culture.....We continued to talk for about a month to a month and a half......and he asked me to marry him......I married this wonderful man on March 17, 2007 in Ocho Rios........We spent 2 wonderful weeks together.......We started this journey in April......and as it is getting closer.....both of us are just a sea of emotions.......Smiles......
