omg i spewed coffee everywhere with the fish and ring thing!!! roflmaoooo.

WOM prices are all over the freakin' place here. Two months ago I paid about $480 to fill the tank 3/4 and now it is around $650 to fill it. The extra $$$$ went to different things like $50 for the truck since I wasn't a customer of this company, and the $ to take the air out of the line so the furnace would start. A full tank normally would last me about 1 3/4 months.

Right now we're at $3.79/gallon for home heating oil and $3.05 for car gasoline.

In my other home that I had about 7 years ago the heat was all electric and I was paying approx $450/month so I'm still lower than that. I have always wanted to price out gas heat but with my bad luck my house will be the next one that will blow up and be on the news so fahggitaboutit.

We're back - it seems he just has a bad abrasion on the pad of his rear paw - which is a good diagnosis (nothing broken/fractured, no puncture wounds). They gave him an antibiotic shot and we'll just keep an eye on it.

This weekend sucked. No heat at all because stupid oil company left me high and dry even though I'm on auto delivery. Oil ran out Sat afternoon and they said they cannot deliver until Monday. I told them to kiss my big fat $#%% and I called about 20 other companies until I found one that FINALLY came out on Sunday night around 9pm. $750 later and only 3/4 of a full tank I now have heat and it's supposed to hit the mid 50's by the end of today. I swear my life IS murphy's law.

$750 bucks ????? Yipes. So how long will that last you ????? (I mean in a normal winter month.)

More reasons I live in South Texas -- I don't even have central heat; I just use space heaters when needed. My electric & gas bill was just under $110 for last month.

Our landlord pays for our gas for the stove/oven and we pay our electric for our apartment. It averages $11 a month until I used my space heater last month and the bill sky rocketed to $16!!! Unbelievable! I better work extra hard to cover our next electric bill.
