Well, the sirens were blarring and we started getting pelted with quarter size hail! This was happening off and on for a good 30 minutes. Scared the he$$ outa me!

Yup.....tornado warning here now! dayuuuuuuumm I don't think I have ever seen a tornado in January. ####### is that ? 65 degrees here too, the norm this time of year is like...10. :| global warming or el nino?

Probably are getting it because of the rapid temp change. Seems to always happen around here when the temp goes from on extreme to another.

I've never been a big fan of huge diamonds, my dayum....this looks good on my finger!

Tornado touched down near Rockford Illinois. Eyewitness reported buildings leveled. News just coming in...........My area will be in the path of a storm in about one hour. :huh:

The rain here is just insane. The tornado warnings have been lifted, but the rain.....it will be nice and calm and then we'll get pelted.......nice and calm for 15 minutes, then we get pelted again!

The schools are just now letting kids out. School was to get out at 3:45 for my daughter and they just said on the news they are just now letting them out. My husband and son are at my parents house(They live 1/2 mile from us) because the sirens were going off and they were both scared. They both forgot their house key so my parents have company for a while now. :)

Stay safe Jackie.....this weather is a booger

I now have this lovely mental image of one of those little tape-measures (the 3-ft kind they put on a keyring) affixed to a lovely white-gold or platinum band.
