Internal flights during AOS

I arrived on a K-1 visa and have filed for AOS and AP. In the mean time i want to take internal US flights between states. If im using my passport for this with my I-94 in will I have any problems at customs/border control or whatever?

I've never taken an internal flight so I dont know what the deal is!

There is no customs or border control if you are taking an internal flight. We flew to disney world last week and no issues - they just look at the picture in the passport for validation of who you are.

I can only speak from experience, but when taking an internal US flight, you will not be required to go through customs or immigration.

You'll be asked for photo ID when going through security enroute to the gate. This is when you present your passport (or even US driving license if you have one). I very much doubt you'll be asked to show visa information.

Yup, just take with you a government issued photo ID. I've travelled to about 8 different States since I got here and all the time I just show them my DL. Kids don't need IDs though but I remember at check in, my daughter was asked what her name is.

All you need is a picture ID or your passport - theydon't look at anything other than the ID - so an I94 etc. are irrelevant. And of course Flights to vegas are most encouraged! Have fun -

Airlines only look for passports if you are crossing a border. If your flight went, say, Newark, NJ to Toronto, Canada to Denver, CO, you would need to provide a passport because you're going to another country.

But if you're just flying from Newark to Denver, if it stays within the US the most you need is valid, government-issued photo ID. I can get by with a Canadian passport or driver's license (though I keep my birth certificate on hand); I've also used my EAD.

You'll have no problems within the U.S. at all, just take a state driver's licence or your passport.

What about hawwii is that also counted as the US or will you have to go through customs from there

Hawaii is definitely part of the US (has been since after World War 2) no customs. Same as if you were flying anywhere within the contiguous 48 states.
