hi salam allz vj members.my interview was on 25 nov 2007 for immigrant visa/and they put me on A/P i called the DOS they told me that you papers work are completed and transfer to islambad embassy on 26 december 2007 .im under 21th age single .can any one tell me when i will get the call or mail from islamad embassy .is that, mean my A/P is completed.thanks in advance im waiting for responce

Every Embassy is different. In Cairo Egypt they mailed us a Packet 3 the same day they received our papers. It required alot of stuff to be gathered and sent back to them. Like your AOS I -134 from the petitioner, Police History for you, Military certificate for you, Birth Certificate, Passport, three different visa forms and so on. DO NOT use this as what you need.....you can go here on VJ under Embassy Info at the top of the page and find your Embassy and maybe they will have the list of what you need. Your AP at the NVC level has been completed. But it does not mean you will not get AP again at Embassy level....... from what I have been seeing. But as I said.....every Embassy is different. Did you have an interview at the Embassy?????

It is usual that after your interview, your fingerprints will be taken and you will undergo another round of security checks.

However, if you have already had your interview and then the DOS said you case is complete, then it is only to get the visa next.

You had your interview...DOS is done with your checks, then it should be just to pick up your visa at the embassy. But how will the embassy notify you??? Must you check their website for your case #????

Wont hurt to call up the Embassy to check on your case. The most that can happen is that they either tell you that your case is completed and visa to be issued or otherwise.
