You need 1000 post to get a heart I forget how many to get a box maybe 500 i might be wrong.

After nine blue boxes, you start getting the hearts. the first one at 1,000 posts and one heart for every 1,000 posts thereafter.

The purpose of Blue Box WAS so people would have a place to post without the insults and fighting. Sadly, that purpose got lost . Obtaining more blue boxes and hearts was not even the issue, rather just an inside joke of sorts.
