Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

No, it's not. I'm pretty sure we have the resources to both exploit them *and* keep them out.

That precisely has been the story up 'til now, my friend.

Not really, because we didn't keep them out.

Many get in to get a piece of the pie they can't get at home. Too bad folks fail to care about how and why many of the ilegales can't and don't make enough to support themselves down that way. Does a country have a right to put up a 100 mile wall to keep people out that want to provide for their kids? Sure! Does that country's government have a right to patronize these people's governments into creating these situations in the first place? Nope... not at least if that same government is willing to allow those affected to find a better life where it can be had.

If you are willing to clog a toilet then you should be willing to either clean it up or put up with the smell.

So it's the USA's fault? I don't buy that. The Mexican people (among others) doubles it's population roughly every 25 years through internal births. They sh*t in their own bed and should clean up their own mess or learn to put up with the smell of it.

They refuse to control their own destiny and reap what they sow. The USA has every right to control who, why, when, if, and how many are allowed into our country. If it takes a fence among other means...so be it. We will either control our own destiny or destiny will control us. Mexico already made its choice long ago with Third World birthrates that are not sustainable. Who is to blame for that?

yikes...maybe, it is a part of their belief system

The key word here is "their" belief system. If they don't like what it brung them...then maybe they need to change or live with it. Don't kick your problems in your neighbor's yard.

Yes...a triple layer fence and more troops to man it. Sturdy fences make for good neighbors.

Who's patronizing? We just want a wall, preferably a 2000-mile one - not 100.

To use your toilet analogy - if you clog the toilet, you can 1) clean it up, 2) put up with the smell,

or 3) seal it up with cement.

That would be one smelly house... where else you gonna do your #2? Back to the analogy, the dumping has been going on from North to South. If you dump too much, eventually the smell will reach you.

We patronize corrupt governments as long as: 1) our companies get first bids on local markets, 2) they publicly fight those pesky commies that seem to crawl out of the woodwork every time a right wing maniac has something to say, and 3) they do everything we tell them to do when we say so and how we say so- some people like to call that diplomacy.

Yes, my typo... I meant a 100 mile high wall. Nevertheless, the waste of money that has proven to be the current construction project known will continue to mean more illegal immigration around it and under it as usual. Cheap walls paid at a premium to Republican Party-patronizing construction companies tend to not work very well and tend to give a Berlin-wall style wind against them.

If we let the entire country of Mexico in there wont be nothing left of America we would be forced to speak Spanish. Everywhere you go now is writing in Spanish lol.

Pues aprovecha hermano... igual aprendes algo ;)

Or you could just help fixing the situation at hand.

Funny thing is... I think I read somewhere that this is exactly what some companies did to build parts of the fences/walls.

Is one country to blame uniquely for another's problems? No, nor do I in any point I make entirely blame the USA, do I? It would be unwise to lay the blame entirely on our shoulders, and I clearly explain that above.

Maybe you're missing my point... maybe you're not. Fact is, sustainability is a function of per capita income, that is... the more you make, the less likely you're opt to boom babies. You know, like in the US past where a mainly agrarian economy meant the need to have more farm hands. Also, the lack of adequate access to education and preventive birth control is another cookie- not factoring cultural and religious norms that have, believe it or not, begun to change. With higher urbanization coupled to a steadily growing economy and improving educational system, the US birthrate has decreased. Even though our consumption rate has risen at a rate higher than both the consumption AND birth rates for countries like Mexico.

Nor do I argue that we do not have the right to fence ourselves in. As I argue before, if you bully other countries into economical submissiveness, expect then to receive the citizens of those countries to come knocking at your door to receive what they can't get at home, thanks, in part, to you. That's all. Want to keep them out? OK... that's what you've been doing so far. Want to continue keeping them out? OK, keep the laws as they are. Want to keep more of the ones out that have snuck in? Sure! Enforce the laws that presently exist. Stop wasting money on silly fences that are already starting to break.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Why is it that people in poor countries always multiply like vermin? Don't they give a ####### about their kids and what the future holds for them?

Didn't you know that it is considered macho to have 10 kids??

The fact that you have no means to support them or educate them is not relevant.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

I love it when people show their true colors. This is getting pretty offensive.

Agreed.

I don't think that its offensive to argue in favor of a little political morality these days.

Sure they do...just float across the Rio Grande on an innertube or take a hike across the desert.

Oh...but I forgot...it's our fault and our reponsibility they have to do this to feed their 10 kids.

I do think it's offensive to compare people having children to pooping in their yard.
