When you say he's been here 15 years. Do you mean here in the US? Do you also have to file a I601 waiver. Can you give us some backstory here.

No they would not have refused for waiting for a medical. The Visa was denied but that would go along with a I601 waiver.

**Never mind** went to your profile and see your had to file the I601. All Visas will say refused when a I601 is involved. That's why you need the waiver because your Visa is denied. Now the I601 kicks in and you have more waiting to do. No problem. Pheww you said its already approved so no worries dear. Had me going there. LOL

Dwheels, I have an approved I601A. You mention "more waiting"...can you tell me any more about that? We are hoping to have a speedy return...should the outcome of interview be an approval ;) just wondering now about the "after interview" process. (Assuming we EVER GET AN INTERVIEW ?) Thanks

If he just wants a transcript he can order it online via the IRS website, no need to visit.

Someone on a Facebook Page "National Visa Center Stage" from Ireland who has also been waiting for an interview just stated on one of my threads, " Just got an email to say that I won't get an interview until at least July, very pissed off right now" I asked why he said, " Who knows! They didn't give an explanation , really sucks".

Is this normal for Ireland interviews or is this an email we may be getting also because of a hold up at NVC? Ugh this all worries me. Just want to be done.

I got the impression Irish embassy was back logged when I phoned, I was told it will most likely be July before I get an interview, case complete beginning of the month. Out of interest where is this facebook page, not a lot of Irish on here, so would be good to see how others are doing.

NVC call today = still scheduling for May. "Send an expedite for an interview". I said "don't you have to have a good reason?". She said "well let them decide if its good or not. Holland has plenty of openings + anyone without a husband at the very least has financial needs. Right? Why not try it and let them decide?"

My question is at this point near a month into waiting for it interview, requesting an expedite slow it down? I should just wait for the process to go?

Avandongen, go for it!

Expedite request is not slowing down anything.

It's interesting to me that the rep said "Holland has plenty of openings" . Is that your embassy? It seems if the rep could see that then an interview should/would be scheduled.

I try not to ask questions anymore though lol because it just leads to more frustration with this broken system. Well I wish you the best of luck if you move forward with the expedite! I have no knowledge about that so I'll let someone else advise you :)

Hello VJ friends, just wanted to pop in and let you all know that the systems are down at the NVC again today. I was on hold for 40 minutes all for the rep to tell me she could only answer general questions because the systems are down. They do not know how long it will be down but advised for me to try back later.

I hope they get it together soon, it seems as if interview scheduling is taking for ever. It will be a full month since my CC in a matter of days.

Good luck everyone ; )

I know right? That was my thought, you can see openings, see they are scheduling for May still but not schedule? Yes, this is the consulate we go through for Netherlands.
