NOA1 taking too long

Hello everybody, I'm new here so I'm still trying to figure out how this works.

I'm concerned about the status of the application(I'm from Ecuador). My fiancée sent the package December 12, 2017 to the TX office. We have not yet received the NOA1. This is suppose to take as the most 1 month but it's been more than 2. I'm worried, does anyone has any clue about what could've happened or is this normal??

Thank you for any help I can get!

Has the check been cashed yet? If it has been, then USCIS received and accepted your petition, and you will want to give them a call to find out what is going on. If it hasn't been cashed, it's likely that they did not receive your petition, or possibly rejected it, but a rejection would have still prompted a notification.

Did you get a I-797C, Notice of Action? If so, it's the same thing.

My fianceé just told me that his bank account manager said the check was deposited, the lady said she felt it was probably  recent. She couldn't give further details.

I found the Texas Service Center phone number, you think is a good idea if my bf can call and ask about the application even if we don't have the case number? (obviously bcz we haven't received the paper yet, with the case number to follow up).

Thank you!

Thank you guys!

Like I was saying to RJandHamid my fiancé told me that the check apparently was deposited, but no paper received yet.

U think it has been taking so long because the USCIS is swamp in paperwork with all the migratory regulations?

Your case is not in the Texas service center it will be in California service center and without a text update at least with a wac number they may not be able to give you information.

can you learn the exact date of cash being checked? If it's recent they may be doing it now.

also if you have your papers, check your address in case to see if it was correct.

did you have a tracking number from usps?

Hi Naes!

Was sent to the P.O Box 660151 Dallas, TX 75266

In response to ur other questions:

Q: Your case is not in the Texas service center it will be in California service center and without a text update at least with a wac number they may not be able to give you information.  A: they transfer the paperwork from TX to CA??

Q: can you learn the exact date of cash being checked? If it's recent they may be doing it now. A: My bf doesn't have an exact date, but the account manager told him it was deposited about maybe 3 week ago

Q: also if you have your papers, check your address in case to see if it was correct. A: We checked and everything is correct.

did you have a tracking number from usps?

A: My bf sent as certified mail so he received a notification from usps when it was delivered, and it was at the end of december

Thank you for your help

Yes all cases goes to California, that's not a transfer. Tx is just a lockbox not a service center.

but if all these info correct and you still didn't get anything from them, you should start calling..
