Can Welfare Health Insurence affect your permanent immigration status?

Hi, I became a conditional permanent resident last October, received my SSN shortly after as well as the actual green card. However, I've failed to find a job. My wife suggested that I should get a welfare health insurance just for emergency situations! We filled out the paperwork in the hospital where I was found to be qualified to receive this benefit.

Now im afraid having this welfare health insurance will affect my immigration status, what do you think? Also, her parents sign the I-864 affidavit of support form.

please let me know what you think!

It will not affect your status; however, per the terms of the I-864 that your wife signed, she may be required to reimburse the government any benefit you receive.  If she is unable to reimburse the government, then the government would seek reimbursement from her parents per the terms of the I-864 that they signed
