The reason why the supervisor completed my case over the phone was because the last check list they sent me was a repeated one, so she requested my file when I called her back 3 weeks later and she had my file on her desk and checked it there and told me everything was ok that she was putting in a case complete, to wait for an interview... But a week later still no date ?

Im from july 14 cc for Dominican republic, and Im still waiting for an interview

Im from july 14 cc for Dominican republic, and Im still waiting for an interview

From what I was told by a supervisor is that after CC it could take up to 30 more BUISSNESS days to get an interview date..That means DO NOT count Saturday and Sunday. So you are at 30 days now but not 30 buisness days.. You should hear something withing the next week or two...Hope this helps...

Interview scheduling depends on available slots, and some embassies are busier. There are only a limited number per visa type.

According to posts in a different thread, NVC\embassies have not yet scheduled a majority of Sept interviews.

So... Our case went to supervisory review. The guy on the phone said it can take up to 42 days or MORE. Of course it would take more!! Nothing was ever early or fast in this whole process!!!!

I said I want to speak to a supervisor, he (supposedly) checked and told me none is available at that moment. But he asked if I want the supervisor to call me back. I didn't know they do that. I will believe it when they actually call back. I doubt it.....

Mines went to supervisor review July 13 and by July 30 the supervisor requested the file then on August 7, I called and asked to be transferred to her. She had the file in front of her and she reviewed the check list there and entered cc.

That's great!! :) I will call everyday until I speak to a supervisor and get my CC. I'm done waiting and doing nothing. If i only knew calling would work, I would call 20 times instead of 5....Anyway. Hopefully I will get mine soon.

I received the completed case email this morning. All it says is the case is complete and to wait for an interview to be scheduled. There's no time frame for the interview to be scheduled

I just got the same exact e-mail this morning myself.............6 days after case completed on the phone..

I think you had case complete August 12. That's when you spoke to the supervisor according to your posts. Email comes 7 days later.

My cc was August 13, hope to receive cc email tomorrow, 7 days after case complete.

A day here or a day there doesn't matter. When I called NVC the evening of August 13, the agent said "we have completed review today" even though I didnt see 3 n/a the next morning. I got my cc email this morning.

NVC reps on the phone do not actually review the cases, nor do their supervisors. They only have the information available on their computer. They generally can only tell you where your case is at present. They know nothing about the processes at the embassies...how long it takes or how they are scheduling. It is difficult to get through but look at how many of us are trying to get through. They can only do so much. Unfortunately, it's just a waiting game. Not their fault.
