I'm in the final stages and getting everything ready to be send for CR-1 visa processing. While providing supporting documentation Imwould like to add our messaging history. After I compile it and printed (double sided, small font) it still comes to over 200 pages of history. I tempted to include all but soon I will have to send a box instead of and envelope, hehe. From other experience do people send all messaging history even if it is massive?

Trim that down to like a page or 2 per month. That's too much. You don;t have to show every conversation you have. They want to see do you communicate. You can just show log of date and time stamp also. And get a few conversations throughout the course of the relationship/marriage. For Japan especially not a hard difficult embassy no need for all that. Cut it down.

I did not send any actual messages. I wrote up a summary of our relationship..about one page about how we met online, meeting in person, etc. I also included how we communicated. I took a screen shot showing how many messages between the two of us and included that image....all on one page.

Other evidence we had was several Western Union receipts, a few cards, passport stamps/hotel receipts/plane tickets, letters from his family, picture together.

We did not get an RFE.

From my experience, I think sending chat logs is unnecessary.

I did the same which is not sending the actual chat conversation history. Mine is processing and i hope i don't get RFE either.

I think what they look for is proof of the frequent conversation/meetup between two parties and not the content. I ain't sending my dirty conversation to those Officials.
