Hello everyone im in Ap about 29 days now we did many inquiry still the same msg .i dont understand what is going on another things there is no Update about our case since The day of Interview .we got this email from Us consulate in casaBlanca again ,its always the same i think its an elctronic answer from them :

" Thank you for your inquiry. Some visa applications require further administrative processing, which takes additional time after the visa applicant’s interview by a consular officer. Applicants are advised of this requirement when they apply. Most administrative processing is resolved within 60 days of the visa interview. When administrative processing is required, the timing will vary based on individual circumstances of each case.

Before making inquiries about status of administrative processing, applicants or their representatives will need to wait at least 60 days from the date of interview or submission of supplemental documents, whichever is later."

Regards,

There is anyone went trought this stressing AP

Do what they request and wait until 60 days have passed. if you bother them too much it might take longer. Nobody knows what takes place when you are placed in AP. Sometimes AP Can take years..check back with them after the 60 days pass. There really is nothing you can do to speed it up and they will never tell the reason anyway.

I agree with you specialy with one thing is not bother them it can really be against you and above all when you involve your Congressman or Senator.cos they can find any excuse to make your life miserable and push you to give up or worst divorce .Ty for the reply .i know all those answers but i just ask only for support that is all .

I was told to wait 60 days as well, but I didn't. Which is a good thing because I found out that I was in AP because my fiancé didn't bring the correct birth certificate. Having my Congressman inquire for me did not "push me to the end of the line" it actually got me the answers I needed. I'd still be waiting for nothing if I didn't try, at least if your Congressmen is told by the embassy that you have everything but it's just necessary AP you won't stress that you did something wrong. Best of luck!

The total amount of days from the date I mailed in our K1 Visa application to the day my fiancé stepped foot into the USA:

1 year, 3 months and 8 days.

The amount of days from the date we mailed in our AOS to the date everything was approved (after 3 RFEs):

7 months & 5 days

Which makes our journey a total of:

2 years, 3 months, and 8 days

I think getting the senator's office involved ONCE is fine. But after that, let them do their thing. Our senator's office contacted the USCIS repeatedly on their own. I think our waiver was a special case since it was approved for expedite but it was taking an unusually long time. Our senator's office even contacted the embassy after our approval to make sure things would run smoothly.

Yep, I would go with the congressman's answer. The embassy just gives petitioners generic answers. And be prepared for a longer wait time.

Its not right that the nvc has control of how long we wait for AP nvc recieves 50,000 embassy returned cases a year.how long does it really take to put our case in data base and send it on to USCIS.its inhumane, what happened to family unity, cr1 means conditional, I say give my husband a chance those first 2 yrs.let the USCIS make a decision at the aos interview!

I would email the congressman and let them know you were advised 60 days and now you are very confused. Stress that you are getting two different answers and don't know what's going on but that you will wait for answers. In 60 days I would follow up again with the embassy and Congressman. Every couple of months stay in constant contact, and wait actively :) you are in my prayers!
