Door? What door? Let's sing the emperor's song:

Someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody's ringin' the bell
Someone's knockin' at the door
Somebody's ringin' the bell
Do me a favor,
Open the door and let 'em in

"Ms. Odeh is not a terrorist. ... Ms. Odeh is asking this court to sentence her as she is today, 20 years after she came to America to help her family, and in light of the last 10 years in which she has built a life of devoted service to her community," defense attorney Michael Deutsch said in a court filing.

Odeh spent a decade in an Israeli prison for the bombings. But she insists she was tortured into confessing to the crimes.

Her citizenship application asked if she had "EVER" been arrested, charged, convicted or imprisoned. Odeh checked the "no" box, telling jurors last fall that she believed the questions were related only to criminal history in the U.S. Tukel said that explanation was "ridiculous."

Doesn't speak to highly for the USCIS background check, does it?

I think she came to US on family type visa, since her father and brother are US citizens.

After serving time in prison in Israel, Odeh was released in a prisoner exchange.

Prosecutors say that Odeh did the bombings for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), a Marxist Palestinian group that has carried out several terror attacks and airplane hijackings since it was founded in the 1960s.

Odeh immigrated to the U.S. in 1995, coming to Michigan to help take care of her father, who had cancer. She also had a brother in Michigan who owned a restaurant. She became a U.S. citizen in 2004. On her immigration forms in 1995 and later on her application forms for citizenship, she said she was never convicted of a crime.

She already served time in Israel, yes? Why is she serving time in the U.S. exactly? Because she lied on some immigration documents? Please! When they got people here illegally

She hid the fact that she was convicted of terrorism to obtain immigration benefits. That misrepresentation itself is a felony offense that is punishable by up to 10 years for a first offense. They don't always pursue the jail time, but they often do in high profile cases. She will also be denaturalized and, I presume, eventually deported.
