RFE for EAD & AP -- separate or combined RFE letter?

The title essentially sums up my question. I searched the website and couldn't find a definite answer. Are we supposed to get 1 yellow RFE letter that counts for both the EAD & AP.... or are we supposed to get a separate yellow RFE letter for each one? Because we only received one... and while it said it was for "EAD", the Receipt # was the wrong one (it was the Receipt # for the AP).

Contact them and ask them about the RFE being for the EAD but listing the receipt # for your AP application. Make sure everything is straight in their system and will be good to go when you respond to the RFE.

Call the USCIS and ask to have your call escalated to an immigration officer that has access to your case information because you need specific answers about an RFE you received.

Calling USCIS is the way to get that answer.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Great, thank you I will do that. Also if anyone could answer the basic question of whether I'm supposed to received a single RFE letter for the EAD/AP or a separate letter for each...

We only received just 1 yellow RFE letter. And it was not clear whether it was for EAD, AP, or both (because they switched the Receipt #'s for EAD & AP as they were originally assigned). When I called USCIS they had no idea what I was talking about because they are idiots.

Basically we just sent in the evidence that they asked for, and about 2.5 weeks later, we got a notification that the EAD/AP had both been approved and the cards were being made. So my best guess is that it was a combined RFE letter for both EAD & AP.

Given that it's a combo card, I'm thinking it doesn't really matter which one the RFE is for? They need something, you provide it, combo card is ordered.

I got an online notice of RFEs for my AP and EAD on June 1st. I received 2 different letters a few days after for each of the cases even though they needed the same document.

K1: AOS / EAD / AP:
04/25/2014: Package sent. 03/02/2015: Package sent
04/28/2014: Package received by USCIS. 03/05/2015: Package received by USCIS
04/30/2014: NOA1 (TSC) . 03/10/2015: NOA1
08/08/2014: case transfered to CSC 04/03/2015: Biometrics letter received
05/09/2014: NOA2 04/15/2015: Biometrics appointment

I have a similar issue. I got a RFE on my EAD n AP, which I mailed the request back after 5days ,2 weeks later, I called uscis and got an email that my case is under review and uscis will contact me shortly. Does anyone know how long it will take? It's over 110days already. My kids already have their EAD card n I got the RFE.
