well.. my answer is simple i have been away from him for almost a year and a half since we filed the petition. i came back to usa. my whole life is here my brother my family and thats just where i live the only reason for me to go there is that i want to see him meet him. and the interveiw already happened with my fiance everything went well except we are in AP due to a requirement which they are doing now for almost everyone. i cant get married there because my whole family lives here only my brother is in pakistan where i would live if i go visit him.

Any updates from anyone on this thread who's in AP or was previously? I'd love to know what has happened since. My fiancé was supposed to have his interview this morning but they simply took his documents and we went directly into Administrative Processing - they didn't even bother to interview him! Has this ever happened to anyone or has it always been after the interview?

We FINALLY heard the magic word on ours - - after 71-days in AP we are officially APPROVED!! Whew!! :dancing: :joy: :dancing:

Mine is also still in AP, and it's been almost 6 months. My passport was returned after the interview. When contacting them about the time that AP could be finished, they don't say a word about that. Only way is to wait.So....good luck.

We had the same issue in Bogota Colombia. We have been waiting for three months now for a decision. The administrative processing is all the website shows. I am really close to giving up on this and we just get married and I try it that way. This has been very very frustrating!!!!!

We had the same issue in Bogota Colombia. We have been waiting for three months now for a decision. The administrative processing is all the website shows. I am really close to giving up on this and we just get married and I try it that way. This has been very very frustrating!!!!!

We waited nearly 15 months, before my husband's visa was issued. I perfectly understand the frustration, but never loose hope. Giving up now means starting all over again.
