I know the threat of a government shutdown has been postponed...but only for 2 weeks! If I can get my NOA2 and clear the NVC by March 18, am I in the clear?

Nope. You still have the consulate to deal with to get the visa. That would be shut down too.
You are not in the clear until you get the visa affixed to the passport.

We avoided the March 4th shutdown, but the 2 week extension is barely comforting.

Why worry about what you can't control, there are too many other issues in this process that is under your control that you should be worrying about.

I just wanted to know if I should expect delays at the consulate too if the government shuts down. Because my wedding plans depend on it.

With all due respect, I was just looking for information about a possible shutdown. Not opinions.
