    Do we need a police statement for the second time green card? I am a Japanese. I had a conditional Green card (our marriage was within 2 years) 20+ years ago. I received my first green card but moved out of the USA soon after. So my Green card expired. We are trying to move back to the USA and apply for an immigrant visa again (through the same spouse). I-130 is approved and my case is already in NVC. I assumed I needed a police report again for the interview. But when I called a council, they told me the report may be able to be issued only one time for one country. Is that true?

    Hello, I wanted to ask a question regarding if I would need a police certificate from my country of nationality. My parents are Romanian citizens, so I am as well. I was born in Austria and have lived there my whole life. However, I did have extended visits to Romania when I was a young child, and my parents own a house there. I have no official record of residency there, but I am considering if I should apply for a PC anyways because I have a Romanian passport and my parents own a house there. I am wondering if a CO might assume I lived there at some point. I would appreciate any feedback on this. Thank you!

For those who have petitioned or are petitioning a Peruvian fiancé, what are the names of the Peruvian institutions that can provide a police report or criminal record? Would you kindly share the name of the institution, the address, the cost of the document, and the turnaround time to get each document? Many thanks, S
