Is 30 days enough to file for AOS?

so my wedding is on October 17. If I want to fly to my fiancée on August 23, I will only have 30 days left after the wedding. Is that enough? Or should I fly to her one month later to be on the safe side?

Assuming you are approved at your interview on the 30th, your visa will be valid for 6 months from the time you have completed the medical. As soon as you enter the US your visa is used and the validity date stamped on your visa is irrelevant. From the time you enter, you have 90 days to get married, so as long as you enter before your visa expires and within 90 days of your wedding date there is no problem.

There is no time limit/deadline in which to file for AOS. As long as you married within 90 days then you are eligible to file based on your approved I-129F petition and fulling the requirements of the K-1 visa. However, you will be out of status and begin to accrue unlawful presence between your I-94 expiring and filing for AOS. Once you file for AOS, you then enter a period of authorized stay while waiting for your green card approval.

There is no time when you have to send it in. But yes, 30 days is totally doable. If you have all the papers and you work hard on it 1-2 days is enough but tiring. Don't recommend it
