Sending the K-1 Packet

I have place all of my required documents in a 3 ring binder and each group is separated by tabs. The paperwork is inside of plastic page protectors.

My question is this: Should I use the plastic page protectors or no?

May sound silly but I really want this to be a smooth process and only want to do what is best for the reviewer.

Any thoughts?

No, you should not put your documents into a binder or use plastic page protectors, if you feel so compelled use binder clips/paperclips to keep your papers in order

the reviewers take apart your submission and scan it in, so it is best to leave the paperwork in a loose sort of format

From what I am reading, the binders and all the other nice stuff we use to organize and protect out precious documents are just tossed aside. They undo everything and scan every page for their records. The scanned file is what they work off of and the documents are kept loose in one file.

Just have the papers in one big stack and then you can use a big paper clip to keep it together under the transport .. They don't want all the other stuff even though it seems well organized by you it is irritating for them..

They do not recommend binders or tabs or protectors or anything of that nature. It creates more work for them and they actually just toss it all aside. Put everything in order (put photos and such in a baggie if you'd like), use paperclips and ACCO binder clips for the whole thing together.

i was thinking of a binder myself but after reading the uscis tips i just took with binder and paper clips , but i am using some page protectors not too many tho it wont take them a century to remove a few page protectors , as someone said before a loose format

Too bad for them. If we have to put up with approval delays, they can deal with our paperclips, binder clips, transparent document protectors, envelopes, document folders and binders. lol
