Hey, I've been looking everywhere for information on how to do this k-1 visa process. so I am finally asking for help!

My fiancee and I got engaged and now are looking for the best way to get started. We think that using a website like rapidvisa.com could be helpful, but I've learned so much already from this website and I don't know what we should do! Could anyone help us get started? What do we need first? What is is this "packet" you start with?

Welcome to VJ. Here is the K1 guide, if you can follow directions and do some research in the forums you can do this by yourself.

Take your time and read, then come back and ask specific questions you may have.

The guides and links above are quite easy and simple to follow. I recommend researching and reading up. It's not difficult and you should be able to do it yourself. (although I've heard people were happy with rapid visa). It's much easier to use a laptop or desktop. Using your phone is difficult when putting together your K1 package. If you have access to a printer and copier you should be just fine. I researched for a couple months using the guide tabs and assembled the whole packet myself. It's really not so hard. You can always come back and ask questions.

Best of Luck!
