Frontloading is a term used to add more supporting evidence that your marriage/relationship is bona fide. Most people upon sending their packets to USCIS, or NVC will add other things to their cases thinking that it will help them prove that their union is legit. These things will be pics, chat logs, phone records, money receipts {not advisable}, hotel receipt while staying in their loved one's country, plane ticket stubs, joint bank account statements, and the list goes on. We are ready for our interview scheduling too. I did not frontload our case because I did not want anything extra to be used to give my husband a hard time at the interview. I submitted only what was asked for and our case has moved smoothly. Now I will be sending a mixture of some of those things above that I mentioned to my husband for him to take to the interview. Some people believe that you should send it before {at NVC stage}, because they believe it helps in high fraud countries because the CO makes a determination before the interview, who they will approve or deny. I have my own opinion about it. Hope that helps

Well front-loading is too late in your case. Hopefully you submitted a good sampling of evidence for CO to pour over to prep fr your interview. For many going through Lagos the CO wants to see Pictures and Phone logs.

Depending what you submitted at USCIS with your I-130 and yes they do ask you to submit evidence of a bonafie relationship. Don;t know why people miss that all the time. And say "they din't ask" yes they did its in the instructions and they even give "suggestions" but the list is vast what you consider to be evidence that pertains to you.

All you can do is hope you have all you needed in your petition package and bring any extra (specially if a trip was done between your filing and interview time). Nothing weighs more in evidence than face time at a embassy.

Nigeria embassy is extremely difficult and for that reason most of us frontload. I can say from personal experience frontloading helps tremendously with this particular embassy. At the original petition stage (USCIS) you do send some of this evidence, however usually by the NVC stage you have more visits, more phone logs, more emails, etc. For example from USCIS to NVC I had made 10 additional visits I wanted the embassy to see. So, I sent that evidence with my paperwork at the NVC stage. At my husband interview they did ask when was the last time he saw me and then looked at the file and said "Oh, wow!". Front loading helps for the Nigerian embassy. It is one of the most difficult in the world. However, it appears you are past the point of front loading if the interview is soon.

One million likes for this!!!!!! I remember when i.raised this topic back in May 2014 and got banned. We did typically exactly what you intend doing and there was not a time our application was delayed and i got approved without hassles.

Op follow your instincts, pray about it. Every case is different and hope for only the best good luck

Yes our paperwork has ran so smoothly. No RFE's, delays, now we are just waiting our interview. The rep at NVC told me that he wish everyone would just submit what is asked and then I told him I will do just that and he said...we all ways seem to loose the good cases. So that was confirmation enough for me. Keep teaching....

But Doshi8000 you are in AP and have been a while. Maybe front-loading would have helped you never know do ya. You mean to tell me you would rather make someones job easier and screw yourself of facts really. :wow:

And of course a USCIS rep and a NVC rep may or may not say that. Depends on what lazy ### you get. Funny the people I talked to at USCIS and NVC were the polar opposite of what you and Kolewenoil31 got. In fact the supervisor I spoke to at NVC told me exactly how to present my extra evidence. No NVC doesn't go through it that's not their job. They just get it put it together and in case file and send it off.

This is your life. Your story and you best believe you better present your best and brightest. Because as you found out Doshi at the interview the CO could careless what you brought to interview.

This will always be debated. But Oh well do what makes you feel right and comfortable. All I tell people is between Interview scheduling and your interview your case file is in the hands of a CO what is in their hands you want them to know to help them render a decision that this is a bonafide relationship. And in some cases convince a CO that this relationship is long standing
