864 I , Co Sponsor and HouseHoldes Size is is varying !!

Hey there , i want to know something about the 864 I and co sponsoring , If we use a co Sponsor
this co sponsor would have to make enough for himself and his household size and the foreign ?
OR Himself and his household size and the foreign and me ( petionner ) and my childs ?

You need the I-134 for the K-1 via, unless your consulate specifically stated they want an I-864 from your co- sponsor.

How to count household size >

Your household size includes yourself and the following individuals, no matter where they live: any spouse, any dependent children under the age of 21, any other dependents listed on your most recent Federal income tax return, all persons being sponsored in this affidavit of support, and any immigrants previously sponsored with a Form I-864 or Form I-864 EZ

The co-sponsor would have to make enough to support himself, his household and the beneficiary or foreign spouse. He/she does not include you or your dependents when filling out the I-864 unless you in their household or counted as a dependent under their taxes.

If you know all this, then you would know the answer, besides the fact that I just posted the answer about how to count household size. That is exactly who is counted. That was your question. How to count household size is the answer.

Does your co-sponsor claim you or your child on their taxes? Yes? Then you are counted. No? Then you are not. Just as it states in what I posted.

for K1 visa, normally you need I-134 and not I-864?

ahh Okay thank you cause at embassy when we did use the 134 I , they did count my childs and myself ( the petioner ) , so that's weird , so you are sure about it ? or calling NVC to confirm that is solution ?

yes i know sir , at embassy they did not ask for I 864 only 134 I , i am talking about the step of AOS =)

For the I-864, you and your children are NOT included in your co-sponsor's affidavit. He would only claim himself, his wife and the new immigrant.

Living with someone does not automatically mean they are counted in the household size. If they just lived with the mother, then no. If she claimed them on their taxes, then yes.
