Just a little info for my Jamaican peeps. on the day of my husband interview, to my surprise they let me in the Embassy with him. I don't know if it was my lucky day or the petitioner is now allowed to go in Embassy. Who knows! Anyways, if your spouse is with you try and see if they will let you both go in. JUST A LITTLE INFO!

Congrats to you too hon. They let my husband in too he jus wasnt allowed at the window with me. But it was good to have him there for support

Is this normal after the case approved at the embassy and before the visa issue i see adminstrative processing after the interview .

See attach picture please .attachicon.gifimage.jpgattachicon.gifimage.jpg

This is normal, once your visa is ready it should say issued.

Here u go

go to this link for details

http://www.uscis.gov...and-dos-case-id

You can find your A-Number and DOS Case ID on your immigrant data summary, USCIS Immigrant Fee handout, or immigrant visa stamp. Your A-Number is the letter A followed by eight or nine numbers (such as A012345678). Your DOS Case ID is three letters followed by nine or 10 numbers (for example, XYZ0123456789). If you are a Diversity Visa immigrant, your DOS Case ID will have four numbers followed by two letters and five more numbers (0000AB01234).

Immigrant Data Summary

During your U.S. embassy or consulate appointment, you should have received an immigrant data summary stapled to the front of your immigrant visa package. You can find your A-Number and DOS Case ID at the top of the immigrant data summary, as shown in the picture below.

Thanks a lot dear

Once I get an immigrant visa interview, do I register it, because when I try to its says the case number is not ready for an interview

Hey! Yes you do! Some Canadian peeps have had luck registering it early but most have to wait until your case is at the embassy and your status says "ready". You can check your status here: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

Mine says "In Transit" so it will hopefully be there this week sometime. I haven't registered yet but I tried just after my interview was schedules and it said the same thing as yours. Just try again tomorrow!

HI GUYS

I HAVE MY INTERVIEW ON MAY 29TH!

I am confused as I got two letters from the embassy. One says 9.30am and the other says 1pm.

Has this happened to anyone else?

How long after your interview do you normally get the visa?

Also, does asking for an earlier interview help?

You won't know unless you ask. Some get earlier date some don't.

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Pakistan&cty=Islamabad

For Pakistan its about

Visa issued same day? No ball.gif If not whats the waiting period? if ur aproved anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks
