Thank you. I read it. And it say that a medical exination is good for 1 year after submission to USCIS. Does it mean that 1 year since you filed I-485 or I understand it incorrect. Because I see some people got RFE for medical, while it is not 1 year, since they filed their papers.

The truth is that we don't really know. We tried to figure it out a few months ago but the random way in which new medicals are asked for makes it impossible. Some adjudicating officers seem to know about the policy change and implement it. Others seem not to know about it or chose to ignore it. I'm very thankful that we didn't get asked for a new medical but I'm very frustrated for you guys being asked to do a new one.

Yeah... It's really strange. Because if it's rule it has to be for everybody.

Just received this wonderful letter from USCIS.....Dear applicant, you submitted an !-693 in support of you`re I-485 AOS application. As of June 1,2014 USCIS has limited validity period for I-693 to one year from date of submission. Based on these regulations you`re I-693 has expired. Send an updated I-693 within 30 days from date of this notice. Attention:AOS/USCIS 26 federal plaza, room 8-800 New York,NY10278. Now the damn thing is dated April 22,but with a stamp on it dated May18, "received USCIS mailroom, New York. Also, we never submitted a I-693, only the DS-3025. Does this mean our case was transferred to N.Y.??? IS all we do is get the DS-3025 transcribed to the I-693??? What would we have done if we didn't have a copy here of the DS-3025???Can someone please advise us how we find a required doctor in the chicagoland area? thank you......words cannot describe how we are feeling right now.

I've got the same letter from this address on May 13, dated April 29! I believe the room is the same! Was if from officer Henriquez??

Hello everyone,

Still nothing at all and received an RFE for my EAD renew card (and I am in late with that)...

For my renewal, I forgot to sign the I-765 form. Since they wrote something on this form, does someone knows if I just need to sign this one or make a new one and sign it ? (I hope I am clear enough ^^)

Hi there , I just wanted to know whats next ? did you check with any civil surgeons ? I cannot find a copy of my DS-3025 that i have already sent to the USCIS , I really do not recall what vaccines i had and what are the ones i do need ? Do you have an idea how much all this medical exam will cost ? Do you think that they are ready to make a decision about our application after we submit the I-693 ? Sorry i am asking lots of questions i just need to know what is gonna happen after whole year of waiting ! Wish you and all the folks here good luck :)

I had to did new medical too! I paid CS $200 only to fill out the form and transfer my vaccinations. Lab works (blood test for TB, syphilis, varicella) were covered by medical insurance.

Hello! What they wrote on form? I think the form has a date, so maybe better to print new one and send both. But it's just guessing.

It's what I though because of the date...

They wrote something very generic :

You must sign your application in the signature block if you are 14 of age or older (...). Please sign and send the application with correct fees to the following address...

They never mention to sign this precise form or to make a new one... I think I will send them a new one ;)

I tried to make a service request online but it gives an error each time I try online. I called USCIS today and she took all the information for service request and told me to wait about 30 Days to hear back from them and gave me a number for my request. I hope they will communicate with Saint Paul field office and finish my misery. I will keep you updated fellows.

Good luck for everyone.
