When did you last see each other?

Why haven't you been to the states since then?

Why hasn't your spouse been to the UK since then?

APPROVED! Woop woop

PS will add a full embassy review soon

Timeline

My daddy (a Californian) saw my mommy who was at widower with two small boys at church in South Carolina. he said that's my wife Meet her February married her in April. She died 6 months before their 40th wedding anniversary and he died 3 years after that.

By immigration standards that would have been married on first visit and short courtship. A no no. A woman who had been married before (OMG imagine) with two kids. He just 21 she 24 (older woman....go momma) :wow:

Okay I am wayyyyyy bored have done NOTHING at work all day buu look at this thread checking my email for updates of this thread or anywhere on earth.

Did I say I am bored!! :bonk:

Thank you, your Dwheelsness for sharing such a beautiful story just loved it. I think immigration needs to check if someone is a terrorist or not it's none of their business how long it took to get married or age. But the law needs to change so if the immigrants is using the person to get a GC they can deport them no matter what. Problem solved. :D I'm bored to. :(

By the way called twice to NVC wanted to talk to the supervisor Sylvia but couldn't the last Rep didn't seem to know what she was saying and said she thinks I'll get CC tomorrow, yeah right I'm going to believe her. I'll call tomorrow morning and God willing I'll have news. :D

I also had my interview today. It went pretty well, although they had trouble getting my fingerprints. They told me they'd call when I can pick up my passport. Hopefully it'll be by Friday, otherwise I won't make it to my flights. They couldn't obviously guarantee that, but said that it's likely I'll be able to get it in time. CEAC shows AP.

Here are the questions they asked me, in case anyone is interested :) I'll post an embassy review once I've gotten my passport back.

-why are you moving to the U.S?
-how long have you been married?
-where did you meet? Which university?
-do you have kids? How many? Are they already citizens?
-where are you moving?
-when are you moving?
edit. I might also add that it was a very pleasant chat, they were all very friendly at the consulate :)

Just a quick update to let you know I had my interview today and was APPROVED!

Yeah the guy who interviewed me brought up our short courtship, but not as a question, just making reference to it. I took it as a question and said that when it's love it's right and you can't put a timestamp on that. He jokingly jumped back and put his hands in the air and "There's no one judging you here" and let out a laugh, I laughed too then he moved on. Does it really matter how long people court? He didn't seem to think so.

Good luck on getting your CC!!!! Fingers crossed for you Soloenta, it's been far too long.

Hahahaaa WOW what a great answer boy that would have done it for me if I had interviewed you. You had a nice CO the Co's in Egypt are vicious and as nasty as they come. I agree there is no time stamp when it's right it's right and that's that! I hate the whole having to defend ourselves, it's just not right.

Thank you so much I'll let every one know what happens, so far nothing has changed. (L) (L)

Hey Lucky, sad to say they lied to me three reps down right lied to me and I don't have CC. I called last Monday and Torry said no they haven't even looked at your files. But I was lucky to get Sylvia the supervisor to look into my files. I was told today that my IV are perfect but there is a mistake on my AOS I don't believe it because a friend who is a genius did it for me. But we shall see. Thank you again my friend and I'll be praying all goes well at your interview. Will say one daily God Bless you and yours. (L) (L)

I'll do the same but wait for you to change it so I can add your link to my first post. :D Will be my first time and pretty much everyone on the thread voted to change it once a month. :D(L) (L)

Was wondering can you change things after you post when you open a thread? I thought I saw Saylin do that but not sure.

Quick question I read ColGil's London Embassy Interview post and they mentioned that they were asked for the DS-260. When you say DS-260 is that the confirmation page or did you print out each page from the actual DS-260 form. I have not been able to find a good way to print off the actual DS-260 form. Thanks in advance for your answers.

Just a quick update to let you know I had my interview today and was APPROVED!

Not many questions:

You had a short courtship (more a statement, but took it as question)

When did you last see each other?

Why haven't you been to the states since then?

Why hasn't your spouse been to the UK since then?

APPROVED! Woop woop

PS will add a full embassy review soon

Congratulations sweetie.

I'll do the same but wait for you to change it so I can add your link to my first post. :D Will be my first time and pretty much everyone on the thread voted to change it once a month. :D(L) (L)

Was wondering can you change things after you post when you open a thread? I thought I saw Saylin do that but not sure.

Only Admins. She has admin authority. When I need to add to 1st post I just hit the report button and ask a admin to change and tell them what I want added.

Have done it now and then when more information comes and I want it it on that 1st post.
