Congrats, I used to relate to you a lot. I felt super frustated everyday and felt the same things you have been writing in your posts. So glad you guys finally have it. Go drink and celebrate a little. We havent had any update. My senator here in Florida said that I would have something in the next ten days (they got that message from USCIS). This was on the 16th of this month. Well hello ten days and nothing. Irrespective really happy for you guys. I cant wait to post the time we get our NOA 2.

They may have meant business days.... I know that my congresswoman sent a formal inquiry and they responded to her (on Thursday) that it would be 45 BUSINESS days (9 work weeks!!!) before we could inquire again or hear anything... If they did mean (and didn't specify) business days - that would be this coming Wednesday/Thursday then, right?

So hopefully you get some good news this week :) From all the other timelines it's looking like 180-200 days is the norm.

It's so hard being so impatient and being far away from the people we care about the most. After 7 years of being apart, I can't wait until I can count the days until my guy is here :)

If not to much to ask can you also create a timeline so we get to refer to it. I hope so in the next few days. Lets see. Thanks again

My timeline has been updated (click the little timeline button next to my name).... I'm not sure what else you're wanting? I'm happy to provide some info :)

I honestly don't believe my congressional inquiry did any good :) It was a good venting outlet for me (at least I felt like I was doing something to contribute!) but I don't believe it actually sped up the process or anything.

I have to agree with you. I never did ask my congressman to intervene, but I did submit an e-request (which I don't believe accomplished anything). We got approved in 179 days which is right up there with your 182 days.

Congrats all around! So happy for everyone.

The NVC thing is still not working for me though. I called the embassy directly and they confirmed the case was still in transit. So, for everyone who is having trouble with the NVC site, just call them.
