Oh when I try to call USCIS they asked for my receipt number and I put it in and get a response it is not a valid number and it hangs up. Does anyone know how to get through besides choosing the spanish choice?

You have to type in the number that corresponds with the first three letters. like, A, B or C type the number 2, etc. Yeah, it works

Tried that. Give it another shot see what happens.

Seriously #######!

I assumed the flow chart I saw would be consistent, but now it looks like my fiance and I have gotten overly excited for no reason. I have already scrambled together all the docs I needed to send her and paid for the 2-day shipping oversees (which was $140), and now I find out it's all for nothing and I just wasted $110 for rush delivery, and now I don't even know if I'm going to have to send more recent documentation to prove my employment and salary.

If anything, the visa flowchart should be fixed

03/xx/2013 - Met eachother

08/02/2013 - Proposed

08/12/2013 - My baby flew back to Poland sad.png

08/14/2013 - I-129F Paperwork sent

08/20/2013 - NOA1 Notice Date

08/29/2013 - Fly to Poland for two week vacation to see her, meet the family, and drive the Nurburgring!

09/20/2013 - NOA2 Notice Date

09/25/2013 - Sent forms and paperwork to fiance to prepare for next step

In meantime - Fiance gets papers translated and gets police record.

10/30/2013 - NVC Recieved Case

10/31/2013 - NVC Forwarded Case to Embassy in Warsaw

11/05/2013 - Submitted DS-160, paid visa processing fee, set medical appointment date, and set interview date

11/07/2013 - Medical appoinment date in Warsaw (apparantly only available in Warsaw or Krakow)

11/14/2013 - Interview date at Embassy in Warsaw. Purchased airplane ticket once we knew we were 100% approved.

11/21/2013 - The date of her flight to AZ. smile.png

And how did you navigate the DOS menus?

Push "1" when prompted then "0" when they start to ramble a list. This will get you to a customer service person. :)

This is news. Never knew that you could call DOS to find out your NVC case number. I thought that post NOA2, you just have to check with NVC regarding the case number and IIN. Will try calling DOS to see if i can get a case number. Does DOS have the case number before NVC? In the sense is the case number created the moment USCIS approves I-130 even before reaching NVC?
