Seems like all these topics start with something like: "Haven't seen a topic made yet for this month, so figured I would do it for the new filers"

(I literally looked through like 10 pages of this forum and didn't see one so hopefully I'm not duplicating) smile.png

Sent two I-130s off on 7/3/2013 (one for my wife and for my stepson), and woke up today to two NOA1s smile.pngsmile.png

Any cohorts out there??

Oh and my case is at the NBC and, based on information I've been reading, it should be forwarded to my "local" office.

Never heard anything from USCIS. Didn't even get confirmation email. Called USCIS to follow up a few times and they told me to wait 4 - 6 weeks. Also waited once for tier 2 for over 45 minutes but couldn't reach anyone.

Never heard anything from USCIS. Didn't even get confirmation email. Called USCIS to follow up a few times and they told me to wait 4 - 6 weeks. Also waited once for tier 2 for over 45 minutes but couldn't reach anyone.

If you don't mind, what was the reason for expedite? medical?

July 1st priority date- IR-1, NBC

I think priority date is just the delivered or received date. The NOA1 is the notice date as printed on the top right corner or your NOA1 hardcopy. Should be a few days later after the priority date.

I think priority date is just the delivered or received date. The NOA1 is the notice date as printed on the top right corner or your NOA1 hardcopy. Should be a few days later after the priority date.

Priority Date is the date when the case was entered into the system. I know this because the USCIS rep that I spoke with told me when my case was entered into the system and it was the same date which was on my NOA as the priority date.

I also think that we should track cases by Delivered Date vs Sent Date / Mailed Date because lets say if there are two people who sent it the same date, but one person sent it Next Business Day Delivery and it was delivered the next day to USCIS, but the other person sent it via First Class mail or from oversea, USCIS won't receive the package till perhaps weeks and not start working on it till weeks later compared to the first person who sent it next day delivery.

With that, if all can update / provide the delivered date, we can better track it.
