I hope you get your NOA2 soon as well! I'm sure you'll be hearing any day about your approval :) In the meantime, you should read the wiki I wrote (linked in my signature) that is specific to Canadians to help you through NVC!

Hope he sends out the package out soon and that you receive it asap! I bet you're super excited to finally send in those packages. Then the ball will be in NVC's court to review and complete your case!

If it helps anyone, NVC received my case from CSC on 7/6 and they just updated my final fee to PAID status on 8/2. Both the I-864 and DS230 packets submitted. So NVC takes roughly a month. Now waiting for either an RFE or interview appointment. Praying for the latter.

I guess I'll be joining this thread too as my case never made it to NVC in July

The good news is that all the operators are now acknowledging that they do have my case in their office... Now I am being told to wait another 15-21 days for them to put it into their system.

Hoping that NVC will hurry up so I can pay them some more money. Funny how that works!

Welcome to another month of NVC! laughing.gif You haven't sent in anything yet?

Nope. I'm waiting for hubby to stop calling and start physically going to whatever office he needs to to get the money owed him from his previous government job so he can go get a new job back with the oil fields so he can earn money to get his #### to Montreal. I'm thisclose to going up there myself and sitting on whoever's desk I need to and STARE at them till they hand me a check. (Can you tell I'm really freakin' tired of this routine? :P )

So no, we're dragging. So ready to actually start getting this process done.

Holding my nose and jumping off the cliff.. hope I don't hit any rocks in the water.

I just talked to NVC hoping to confirm receipt of my DS230. The operator said it must be in the building but that her computer cannot confirm receipt. Then she added that my I864 was accepted as ok.

So nice to know I won't get an RFE on the I864. I guess it pays to keep calling. The operators at NVC seem to want to be helpful.

I was given the usual 20-day response to review the DS230.

*grins* It may not; was chatting with him last night, and apparently he may have the money by early next week. I told him I'd believe it when I got a picture of him with the check. :P So our target is a January/February interview date. Woo? :P
